    VOLUNTEERING OTHER

Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. There is a high level of poverty in Ecuador, and

there are many ways you can help.

Beware - There are some foreign based organisations on the web that offer volunteering opportunies

for gap year and the like. On their websites they may look like they are charitable organisations but really

make alot of money by simply referring you to actual place of volunteering, offering you a contact for ´support´.

The organisations who are really in need here receive then little or no money!

Other companies will charge you a registration fee to refer you, these charges vary from $50 - $300, you need

to decide if they are worth paying for their services.

The good news is you can contact the place of volunteering directly and sometimes pay a small registration fee

        or nothing at all!

      Some examples :

         social work type volunteering
